Saturday we traveled to Bware to meet with BUCHWA (Bware United Community Health Workers Association) and BBEKAS (a group of head teachers from each of the six primary schools in the area) to discuss what needs the community has and how we can help meet those needs. We decided on de-worming the nearly 3000 children and also screening them for ring-worm (not really a "worm" but actually a fungus). We will begin screening and de-worming on Friday (10/7/11) morning at the first two of the six schools.
